The vicious attacks of September 11, 2001 are one of the most
tragic days to occur in world history. The sadness and devastation that many
people felt that day, it still felt today, 11 years later.
On that beautiful Tuesday morning, so many innocent lives
were lost, and our nation was forever changed. Today, many people have gathered
at the site where the Twin Towers once stood, to honor all of those whose lives
were lost.
Although this day brings a tremendous amount of sorrow to
many, it’s turned into a day to show pride and appreciation of being Americans.
9/11/01 is a day that will forever be documented and never
forgotten by the citizens of the United States and those around the world.
