Have you ever been to Old Westbury Gardens? If not, you’re
sure missing out on a ton of beauty that remains in Nassau County. This summer, Old Westbury Gardens is putting on
the 2012 Picnic Pops Summer Concert Series! This is a great way to explore the
gardens while listening to some great music in a beautiful location every Wednesday night!
The concert series runs until Wednesday, August 15th.
Come on down to the beautiful Old Westbury Gardens with a lawn chair, blanket,
picnic and your friends and family and set the scene for an amazing night out
under the stars.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and dance lessons begin at 6:30! Some
of this year’s performers include Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, Vince Giordano
& the Nighthawks, The Hot Sardines, James Langston’s New York All-Star Big
Band and Zon del Bario!
General admission for the event is $10, 62 and over is $8,
members are $8 and the event is free for children under the age of 17.
