Earlier
this week, the first human case of West Nile Virus has been confirmed in Nassau
County this year. Nassau County health officials are warning all residents to
take the proper precautions after this information has been released.
The
resident who has the confirmed case of West Nile Virus, lives in the Town of Oyster
Bay, is a 70 year old woman. She was hospitalized on July 27th with
symptoms of West Nile, she is now recovering.
