On June 23rd, Nassau County Police will be holding a
gun buyback program. Any individual who turns in an operable handgun will be
paid $200 in cash. Licensed guns, BB guns, air pistols, long guns and replicas
will not be accepted.
The program will be running from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June
23rd at Union Baptist Church located at 24 Clinton C. Boone Place in
Hempstead.
