Records are showing that in New York City, residents are
getting fewer and fewer traffic tickets! The New York Post reported that if the
current trend continues, there about be an estimated 270,000 fewer summonses
when the fiscal year ends on June 30th.
This means one things, less revenue for the city. Last year,
New York City collected $25.6 million from moving violations last year. This
year, the city is looking at a total of about $16.5 million.
