The
New York Yankees are on a 10 game winning streak! Sabathia lead the team to
their 10th straight victory after their 6-2 win over the Atlanta
Braves. This is the Yankees longest winning streak since 2005!
Sabathia struck out 10 batters and issued one walk
last night at Yankee Stadium. He joined teammate Ivan Nova as the only American
League pitchers with nine wins this season!
The Yankees scored three runs in the fifth inning
when Russell Martin hit a ground-rule double to drive in the first run and
followed by Derek Jeter with a two run single. Mark Teixeira and Robinson Cano
also both hit solo homeruns!
