Accessing your DMV Driving Records, or your child’s records, is simple and quick using the DMV website.

MyDMV offers you quick and easy access to a variety of personalized and secure online services without mailing in forms or making a trip to your local DMV office. Click the “Get My Driving Record Now” link, login, and immediately download, print and save your own certified driving record abstract. You can also request to have an additional copy sent to you via mail using this option.

Not looking to sign up with the DMV? No problem! You can request a copy of your Abstract of Driving Record by clicking the “Order an Abstract of Your Driving Record” link, and it will be delivered to you via mail. Note, with this option your record is not available for viewing online. Allow two weeks for delivery.

What information appears on your DMV records? Your driver abstract shows your name, date of birth, and your mailing address. Additionally, it includes your drive license class, endorsements and restrictions, as well as the current status and expiration date of your driver’s license. Most importantly, your abstract will also include any suspensions or revocations of your license, accidents and moving violation conviction that you may, or may not know about.

You can also order and access Motor Vehicle Accident Reports by clicking on the “Order and Access Motor Vehicle Accident Reports” link. Here, you can search for, purchase, view, save and print PDF copies of motor vehicle accident reports filed with the DMV.

Do you have a teen driver under the age of 18? If so, you can use the Teen Electronic Event Notification Service to sign up for email and/or regular mail notifications when moving violation convictions, accidents or driver license suspensions or revocations are entered on the DMB driving record of your minor. To access this feature, click on the “Teen ElectronicEvent Notification Service (TEENS)” link.
